"Brothers, what shall we do?"

Acts 2:37
"When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' "
By now, this text will probably have spurred alot of emotions, but don't be afraid, God is well in control of your life and may have even brought you this manual to help you understand what is happening in your life. Despite all the things you are facing, God is able to deliver you.
Returning to the vision in the beginning of the book: Remember that the person gave up, crossed his arms, and then stood still pouting? We have to get to the point where we will "forgive" God for anything we feel He may have not done for us in the past, and then continue to press in to Him regardless of how we feel. Every time we stop, we just have to start over again later down the road.
Sooner or later we will have to face whatever it is that is causing us to give up. Sooner or later, we will have to stop complaining about our lot in life, and turn our fears and frustrations into faith. Sooner or later, we will have to follow the example Jesus laid down for us in giving up everything for the sake of His kingdom. Sooner or later, we will have to submit to God.
Proverbs 19:3 says, "A man's own folly ruins his life, yet his heart rages against the Lord." and Isaiah 43:22, "You have not wearied yourselves for me, O Israel." The Lord is waiting for us to seek Him. If we continually ignore what the Lord is trying to do in our lives, we will bring disaster upon ourselves.
"Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are confident of better things in your case - things that accompany salvation." (Hebrews 6:9)
So when you feel the pressures, when you feel the doubts, when you feel the fears, take them to the Lord. Don't blame other people, situations, and circumstances. No matter what is going on in your life and who is responsible for it, it is YOUR responsibility to seek the Lord until He answers you. If you do not do this, then it is no one's fault but your own.
Seek His face continually. Forgive anyone who has hurt you. Don't worry about whether or not you "feel" it, just DO it. Learn to trust the Lord with even the little things. Seek Him diligently while the time is now, "before darkness overtakes you". And if the Lord may need to, allow Him to bring you through the point of desperation, not just to it.
And if everything is fine right now? Amen! Just continue to press in to Him and be ready to do whatever He may want.

Remember that you can reach the POINT of desperation without reaching the point of DESPERATION.

And please, people of God, do not judge one another. Everyone's road is different and God deals according to each person's needs. Keep your eyes on Him and He will show you what to do.
